Well, I’m now definitely back to work. I’ve had quite a stressful year at work (hopefully things will chill down for a while). Yes, some of my team’s work can be seen in the new Audi A3 (just revealed at Geneva Motor Show). Pretty proud of that, actually. Soon you’ll also see it in the new Golf 7 😉

But anyhow, as I said I’m back to Android development – and hopefully without major breaks this time.
To start, I thank the 15,000 active Power Schedule users by releasing a new minor update: version 1.5. I’ve finally added one thing most of you asked for – “vibrate” instead of “silent” option.
Also, if you don’t mind, I’ve added an ad, as a splash screen. This is because my hosting costs some bucks / year. I hope this doesn’t upset anybody – if most users demand removal, I will.
You can find it in the form of a checkbox in the “Ring Profile” section.

So go on, update your app. And if you don’t use it already, what are you waiting for? 🙂

    1. I didn’t say this website is the only one hosted on my account. As a developers, I have also some specific requirements, which are not found in the free hosting packages.

  1. I was happy to see that you were adding the alternative to use “vibrate” instead of “silent”. But I was actually disappointed to see how you implemented this. I would like to have the option to program switching from “normal” to “vibrate” at one time, and from “vibrate” to “silent” at another time, and vice-versa.

    1. Hm, I read that for a second time. So you want 2 separate schedules? ie. normal->vibrate at X, and then vibrate->silent at Y, after that maybe silent->normal at Z?

In this branch of Power Schedule only toggling is supported ( A->B, B->A).
I could add toggling from Vibrate -> Silent, Silent->Vibrate just as an option to replace the “Normal” ring profile.
      What do you think?

  2. Great app on Verizon Galaxy Nexus until the last update. Now only see what appears to be four black panes which fill the entire screen. Lower left pane has some white shading near bottom. Also contains about 10 words much to small for me to read in upper left of same pane.

  3. Works great again on Verizon Galaxy Nexus. Black screen is gone. Thank you for the fix. Sorry it took longer than expected to reply.
