It seems there's a bug in the SafeMode for Smartphone trial version, that causes it to expire immediately after the next soft reset. This is due to registry changes not being saved ("flushed") before the reboot. To work around this, do not remove the battery or use a reset application after installing SafeMode; instead, do a power off/power on from power button. I'm working on a fix for this issue, so you can properly test the trial version. This bug doesn't appear in the full version. |

I recommend Plimus.com if you want to purchase a copy of SafeMode (Pocket PC or Smartphone versions). Why? SafeMode 2 for Smartphone is here. As I promised, I managed to release the first ever Smartphone version of SafeMode - now Smartphone users have the same advanced crash protection system Pocket PC users enjoyed. I know speed is important - it's even more important on the Smartphones, since they are a lot slower than Pocket PCs. That's why I worked on SafeDirect, a feature that allows direct boot in and out of SafeMode. This eliminates the dual soft-resets required to switch between normal and SafeMode. Aside from this, all other standard features are there: disabling Services, Home plugins, Startup applications and Pocket Internet Explorer add-ons.
