First of all, I would like to thank everyone who purchased SafeMode 2 for showing their support.
As you know, this site (and project) is my hobby, therefore I didn't find the time to update it constantly (actually, it's been more than a year since the last update).
Anyway, I received a lot of e-mails asking for a Windows Mobile 6 (and 6.1) update for SafeMode. I finally have some spare time I can use to make it happen, so I already started working on it. It will take a week or so, until I get a chance to test it on more devices, so if you have a WM6 / WM6.1 Standard (iSmartphone) or Professional (Pocket PC) - and some free time for beta-testing - drop me an e-mail at monocube (at) monocube (dot) com. |

It seems there's a bug in the SafeMode for Smartphone trial version, that causes it to expire immediately after the next soft reset. This is due to registry changes not being saved ("flushed") before the reboot. To work around this, do not remove the battery or use a reset application after installing SafeMode; instead, do a power off/power on from power button. I'm working on a fix for this issue, so you can properly test the trial version. This bug doesn't appear in the full version. |

I recommend Plimus.com if you want to purchase a copy of SafeMode (Pocket PC or Smartphone versions). Why? It's very simple: while Handango or PocketGear are great websites for finding applications, they are not so great for small developers, like me. They charge 40% of the price of each license.
