Yesterday the site was down for a few hours. This was due to the domain renewal proces, which affected the server. I was a bit surprised, since the registrar says the renewal process should have no negative effect. Anyhow, I'm glad it's over. I'm still working on SafeMode 2.1 - however I couldn't yet find a way to reset the AKU 3.x ROM versions at boot time. It seems Microsoft changed a lot of things in these versions. I have found a convenient workaround, though. This version will also add full support for Pocket Secure, which is a great Pocket PC security application. The release date for SafeMode 2.1 is Monday. By the way, this is a FREE upgrade to SafeMode 2  |

I had a great vacation - but now it's time for work.
I plan to release an updated SafeMode 2 version (2.1) in about one week. This will fix some issues with some AKU 3.x ROM versions - big thanks to Marc Elser for helping me out), and enhance startup protection even more (I have some new ideas on this).
Also, there will be new useful options in the SafeMode Advanced application (you'll find out more soon enough). |

This year has been really great for me - in every possible way. It's time for me to take a short break from daily routine and head to the mountains, for some quality time with my girlfriend and friends.
I will have limited access to my e-mail, but I'll do my best to answer all possible issues. Anyway, I'll be back on January, 8 - and I'll focus on my new application (which is almost done)...beta testers with a Smartphone, anyone? :) I wish you all a Happy New Year! |
