What is SafeMode?
SafeMode for Windows Mobile protects your PDA from unexpected system failures, such as hard resets or soft reset loops. These are mainly caused by incompatible software or other malware on your device.

SafeMode blocks all unknown applications that are automatically started when your device is booting, giving you a chance to remove them before they cause any damage. You

SafeMode prevents unwanted hard resets in case your device stops working, therefore your personal data is not lost. You can use it even if you use a backup solution for your PDA.
What about other similar products?
